1. About SharpQuote
SharpQuote is a WhatsApp quoting and invoicing service run by Level Ideas (Pty) Ltd, South Africa ("we", "us"). It turns the messages and voice notes you send into quotes, invoices and related documents for your business.
2. Using SharpQuote
- By tapping a button in our WhatsApp chat, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.
- Your first 5 quotes are free. After that, SharpQuote is a paid subscription (monthly, 6 months or 12 months); see Prices, cancelling and refunds below. While paid plans are not yet available, we may give you an access code to keep using SharpQuote.
- SharpQuote is for making quotes and invoices for your business. Please don't use it for anything else.
- Your account is linked to your WhatsApp number. Keep your phone secure: anyone who can send messages from your number can use your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, and the details you give about your business must be true.
3. Prices, cancelling and refunds
- SharpQuote costs R299 a month, R1 499 for 6 months or R2 899 for 12 months, paid in advance for each billing period.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future payments. It takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep using SharpQuote until then.
- Payments are non-refundable. You pay for the whole billing period in which you cancel, including the final month.
- 6-month and 12-month plans are paid upfront at a lower price. If we agree to refund part of one, every month from the start of the plan up to and including the month you cancel is charged at the standard monthly price (R299 a month), and only what is left of your payment, if anything, is refunded. For example, cancelling a R1 499 6-month plan in its 3rd month: 3 × R299 = R897 is charged, and R602 is refunded.
- Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under South African law.

4. Your documents
- SharpQuote reads your message and prepares the quote or invoice for you. Always check each document before you send it to a client. You are responsible for the prices, details and tax information on the documents you send.
- If you are VAT-registered, you are responsible for making sure your tax invoices are correct.
- SharpQuote uses automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to understand your messages. It can make mistakes, which is why it shows you a summary before making each document.
- Your documents, logo and business information remain yours. You allow us to use them only to provide SharpQuote to you.
5. Fair use
- Each account has fair-use limits (for example, the number of documents a month) to keep the service fast and affordable for everyone. If you need more, ask us.
- Don't use SharpQuote for anything unlawful, misleading or fraudulent, to send spam, or to try to break, overload or copy the service.
- We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
6. The service
- We work hard to keep SharpQuote running, but it depends on other services (such as WhatsApp) and may sometimes be unavailable. Please keep your own copies of important documents; you can always ask the chat to resend a PDF.
- We may improve, change or stop features. If we make a change that significantly affects a paid plan, we'll tell you in advance.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses (such as lost work or profit) from using SharpQuote, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.
7. Your data
- We store only what we need to make your quotes and invoices. See the privacy policy.
- Send DELETE in the chat at any time to delete your account and data.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the chat before it applies. Using SharpQuote after that means you accept the updated terms.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
